Secondary Research

The Vera Project is a volunteer-run and non-profit music and art space located in the Seattle Center for hosting all-ages concerts and art exhibits.Primary mission is to foster innovative all-ages music and arts culture through a volunteer-fueled participatory approach.

After the secondary research, I decided to create an artistic, contemporary, and music-driven atmosphere while containing the welcoming nature to reach the broad range of audience of the Vera Project’s audience.

Logo

The logo uses a combination of pictorial mark and wordmark. The slightly skewed guitar symbol with a heart creates a sense of engagement with Vera’s music and volunteer culture. The The all capitalized text using the Source Code Pro typeface creates a bold and energetic atmosphere.

Color Palettes

Bold, bright.
Simple and to the point.

The color palette consists of two shades of grey as the primary tone with a light beige color for contrast. Accent colors include a bright red and yellow to draw attention and call for action.

Imagery

Artistic, contemporary, energetic.

Images will be bold, relating to music and art, and includes people to create the welcoming atmosphere.
